We’re going to Australia in three weeks and that means were having a sunny summer Christmas! Bring on the day drinking and BBQs!
I am not the biggest beer drinker (I’ll have a Blue Moon every once in a while), so I’m always trying to find the perfect beverage to bring to BBQs.
That is why I came up with the best 5 drinks for day drinking.
1) Fresh Watermelon White Wine
Frozen watermelon+white wine+club Soda+lime = summer in a glass. My favorite combination for marathon drinking.

2) French 75
This drink gives you a little bit of class, while you get your drunk on. With gin, lemon juice and champagne – this will get you in the happy drunk mode as you stuff your face with burgers.

3) Strawberry Mint Mojito
For the Gin lovers out there. This is a sure fire way to get happiness in a cup. With this mixture of mint, strawberry, gin and lime juice, you won’t know you’re drinking alcohol until you find yourself dancing on table tops.
3) Watermelon Blueberry Sangria
Another twist on sangria that keeps you feeling clean but boozed up (because that’s the secret to flat bellies in bikinis, am I right ;)?). This drink has blueberries, watermelon and white wine. That’s it! Simple and gets the job done.
4) Pineapple and Ginger Moscow Mule
If wine is not your thing, but you crave fresh, summery drinks, look no further because this drink has the kick you’re looking for. Ginger juice, pineapple juice, vodka, a splash of Soda water, lime and ginger juice makes for a GREAT Moscow mule.

5) Watermelon Mai Tai
This list would not be complete without some sort of Mai Tai. Watermelon, pineapple juice, white rum and triple sec blended together to make one harmonious concoction.
If you’re sick of beer and want some fun drinks for BBQs, these might just do the trick!
Stay hydrated and stay boozy my friends.
